Bobs auto is owned and operated by Bob Philp IV. As a family owned business, Bob took over in 2008 when Bob III retired. With over 32 years of experience repairing VW and Audi specifically, Bob has the knowledge and training to accurately diagnose and repair your vehicle correctly. ASE Certified in multiple areas. Trained and certified in several VW and Audi specific areas such as check engine light diagnostics and repair.
We have always been known as THE VW and Audi independent repair facility. At Bobs our commitment is to earn our customers trust by performing quality repairs at a reasonable price. We will not sacrifice by using low quality parts. We use only high quality and proven aftermarket parts and genuine VW and Audi when advisable.
We stand behind every repair with a 6-month 6k warranty. Honesty, integrity, and quality is our reputation at Bobs.
Early History
Established in 1978 by Bob Philp III as the only VW auto parts store, Bobs Auto Parts was opened. Bob Philp III started in the VW business working at area VW dealerships in both the service and parts departments. Shortly after opening and gaining a good following in the VW world, a friend and top mechanic, Dan Case, was hired to rebuild air cooled motors from the 80s to 2008 and 2010. When both retired, well over a thousand motors were built.
